Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad
Arrive in Islamabad in the morning or afternoon where you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time you can enjoy optional sightseeing at the Faisal Mosque, lok virsa or the Pakistan Monument.
Overnight night in Islamabad.
Day 2: Flight to Skardu – Exploring the City
Take the morning flight from Islamabad to Skardu which offers spectacular views of the mountain ranges. After transferring to your hotel and resting you can explore the Skardu Bazaar and local culture. Visit Kharpocho Fort for panoramic views of the Skardu Valley and witness the sunset at the Sarfaranga Cold Desert.

Day 3: Shigar Valley & Blind Lake
Drive to Shigar Valley which is approximately a one-hour journey. Visit the historic Shigar Fort which is now managed by Serena Hotels and the ancient Amburik Mosque. Explore the beautiful Blind Lake which is a serene hidden gem of the region before returning to Skardu for leisure time.

Day 4: Deosai National Park – The Land of Giants
On a full-day adventure in Deosai National Park which is one of the highest plateaus in the world. Visit Sheosar Lake and look for local wildlife such as Himalayan brown bears, marmots, and golden eagles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the vast grasslands before returning to Skardu in the evening.

Day 5: Shangrila Resort & Upper Kachura Lake
After breakfast drive to the famous Shangrila Resort also known as Lower Kachura Lake. Afterward take a short walk to enjoy a boat ride on Upper Kachura Lake which is famous for its clear blue water and surrounding mountains. Relax at the lakeside and enjoy the local trout fish for lunch.

Day 6: Drive to Hunza via Gilgit
Depart early in the morning for the journey to Hunza Valley which takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Along the way you will stop at the Junction Point of the Three Mountain Ranges where the Indus and Gilgit rivers meet. Visit the Rakaposhi Viewpoint for tea with a view of the massive peak. Arrive in Hunza and check-in at the hotel.

Day 7: Exploring Hunza – Baltit & Altit Forts
Wake up to a sunrise view from the hotel followed by a visit to the iconic 700-year-old Baltit Fort. Stroll through the Karimabad Bazaar to shop for local handicrafts and gemstones. Later visit the Altit Fort and its Royal Garden before heading to the Eagle’s Nest Viewpoint for a sunset over the peaks.

Day 8: Attabad Lake & Passu Cones
Drive to the stunning turquoise Attabad Lake for boating and jet skiing. Continue the drive towards Passu and Gulmit Village to see the famous Passu Cones. You can also make an optional stop at the Hussaini Suspension Bridge for a thrilling experience. Return to Hunza in the evening.

Day 9: Gilgit Exploration – Kargah & Local Bazar
Start your day with a short drive to the Kargah Buddha. This 7th-century rock carving is one of the most significant archaeological sites in the region. In the afternoon diving into the local commerce. Start at the main area and then head to the famous NLI market.

Day 10: Flight to Islamabad – Departure
Drive to Gilgit Airport for your flight back to Islamabad. Upon arrival in the capital you will be transferred to the airport for your international departure or to your hotel for your final evening in Pakistan.

It was a fantastic tour to the North. Chogori's Skardu Hunza Tour package took us to all attractions in Hunza and Skardu Valley. Both valleys were Fairylands.
